The Rest of the Story

School Shootings

Something is terribly wrong when our leaders will not identify evil. It is a cop-out to think they don’t know better or that they are just confused. The public is all too well aware that they begin saying things that they have said many times long before they have any true facts because they have a political speech to make. As always, part of what they say is obvious and we all agree with it. However, they then repeat the same solutions that would not have changed what was done in any way and will only punish those that have not harmed anyone.

Our schools must be safe places for our children, teachers, workers, and visitors! Our children and all people must be safe in all places in America. Our nation is in mourning for all of these that have been lost, for the families that have forever been changed. Our prayers are the only thing that can help them at this point and for many months ahead. Anger and shouting may well be part of their grieving process, but not part of developing a real plan to better protect our people and make America a safer place to live.

When the President blames the weapon used and not the person that committed the evil act and then pretends that the act would have not happened if only he had more power to control what you can buy – that is pure politics. He is the same President that is preparing to fight to keep the killing of millions of babies through abortions on request. He is the same person that has approved and supported the BLM riots and other evil acts. So why are we seeing so many violent acts in America today? Why is it so hard for our leaders to deal with evil acts? The answer to all of these questions is the same – Too many of our leaders and our people have sold their souls to Satan. They no longer can see evil as evil or good as good. They have accepted evil behavior as normal behavior and changed our laws to protect those actions. That process does two things: brings us closer to Satan and further away from God. This has been years in the making; however, the rapid changes in this acceptance in the past few years are the result of the indoctrination for years, first in our universities and more recently within our grade schools.

Millions of Americans have been watching this all play out and even discussing what they were seeing. They know the books, chapters, and verses in the Bible that describe how the process begins, grows, and how ends. Sermons are preached and discussions are held within the walls of churches. Many prayers are offered up to God asking for our nation to turn back to Him. Our churches are needed to keep our faith strong; however, we cannot confront evil (Satan) within the walls of our church – we must confront and do battle with evil wherever evil exists. That means we must be strong enough to speak out against all evil behavior – not using current laws as a measurement, but the Bible as it is God’s laws and the only “true” moral compass. When any leader (at any level including the President) says that the Bible supports abortion, they should be removed from office. When any leader tells you that they cannot tell you what a woman is or that a child can decide that they are really not a boy or girl as their body has developed within the womb – they need to be removed from office. This is not confusion about science, this is being sold out to Satan. The vast majority of Americans know what evil is and they want it to stop, but they are but sheep – afraid of being devoured by the wolves. The Bible speaks of listening to your “elders” to get wisdom. Those of us getting up in years must become today’s messengers in the streets to call out “evil” and those that support evil behavior.

Our weapon in this battle must be God’s Word – using Book, Chapter, and Verse. Let them challenge not your words, but God’s Word. They cannot say they are a believer and deny God’s Word in the same conversation.

Daniel 12:4 ‘But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.’

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

1 Timothy 6:20-21 O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge— by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

2 Timothy 3 New International Version
3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
