I have heard some people say that the Bible has its place, but on many issues today, it is not relevant because times have changed. So what did God know about these times we are living in? Is it a true statement that we are experiencing something so unique that God could not have known about when the books of the Bible were recorded? Are we actually seeing something different than at any time in history? Of course, nothing is new about the changes we have been seeing during the last two, ten, or 50 years. The truth is that many people want you to believe that to make God’s word (Bible) less important in the discussions.
Even without the Bible, history tells the stories about what has happened to each country that has tried to govern using these same views. Every one of those governments collapsed and sent their countries back for decades. Just do a little research about what led up to the fall of the Roman Empire. The phrase “History repeats itself” is still true today. If you cannot understand that, it is because Satan has stunted your ability to see what should be clear and easy to understand.
If you are a person that believes that the Bible is God’s word and a message to all that believe in Him, then take a look at some of His messages. Apostle Paul wrote these to Timothy as warnings and to guide him through times just like what is occurring today with redefining what are acceptable relationships. Only a fool would believe that God was not aware of what could happen when His people turn their backs on Him and toss aside His teachings. You cannot serve two gods, if you accept Satan’s values you have rejected God. Anyone that teaches these ideas or even allows this to be taught to a loved one, has already turned their back on God! It does not matter if this is being presented to preschool, high school, or adults. God has made it clear that He has scrapped and started over multiple times when societies have become so evil. Search the Bible for any verses that you believe show this is acceptable to God, don’t take my word for it. If you don’t have a Bible, maybe that should tell you about the decisions you have already made! No one is born a Christian and only you can make that happen.
2 Timothy 3:1-17 New International Version 1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone. 10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 4:1-4 New International Version 1 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
