When I was going through some old papers looking for some documents that I needed after Eva’s passing, I came across the newspaper clipping I wanted to keep. It was from the last time Eva had sung at the Jones Hall with the UBA Choir along with the Houston Symphony Orchestra for the Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus. I forget how many years she was able to do that, but it was wonderful for me and my daughters to be there and see her as a part of something that she loved. She made many trips across town to practice with the UBA group and it was such an honor. I have put that in a safe place and cannot find it now. So many memories just popping up like – do you remember this?
