The Rest of the Story

Gone But Not Forgotten

It has been four years since Eva left us on April 22, 2022. It was just three days before Tammy’s birthday and six days before Jennifer’s. Recently, I have had two strokes that have changed my life and how I get through my days. I have told myself that I would remain positive and grateful for the life God has allowed me. For the weeks since the first stroke, part of my prayers were to live until this day so I could post one more reminder of how much Eva meant to me. I never expected to live this long after her passing, so my stroke was not a surprise, only that I survived.

Jennifer and Kaylee (my oldest granddaughter) have made my care a priority and have been here for me daily. My doctor has been great and has provided additional medications as needed. The use of my right hand is better, but not back to normal. I can now move my fingers on my left hand and my left arm.  These improvements have exceeded my expectations, and the glory goes to God.

Each day is a gift from God, and your prayers are being answered.

Thank you to everyone praying for me and my family who are giving so much for my care.
