Jennifer drove me to the primary care doctor this morning. I could have driven there by myself, but she has been there all week for me, and I really did not want to be alone this morning.
As many of you know, when I went to the hospital ER last Wednesday, I was admitted to the hospital for testing to determine if I had a stroke. I had a lot of tests, including a brain CT scan, brain MRI, heart EKG, chest CT scan, heart Ultrasound scan, and blood labs. The news is not good; they found evidence of nodules in my lungs and lesions in my brain. I have refused further tests and biopsies. At 83, I chose to take the quality of days that God gives me over chasing after a few additional days that aggressive treatments might buy.
God has blessed me with good health, a great family, and 58 years with a loving wife. On March 21, it will be 62 years since Eva and I got married, and our 4th anniversary since she went to be with Jesus.
It takes me much longer to write these days, so I will not be posting as much going forward unless that improves.
